Rider Rules, Service Standards & Payment

This page is the working draft of the standards a passenger agrees to follow when requesting or receiving recurring transportation from Success Transport. It is designed to be incorporated into the enrollment process after operational and legal review.

Important: This is a business-policy draft, not a final legal contract. Transportation licensing, consumer-protection, employment, accessibility, insurance, and any program-specific rules must be reviewed before publication. Massachusetts also has specific rules affecting transportation charges in certain temporary/part-time worker arrangements, so employer/staffing-agency programs should use their applicable contract and legal requirements rather than automatically applying the consumer rates below.

1. Passenger service standards

  • Passenger must provide accurate pickup, destination, contact and scheduling information.
  • Passenger should be ready at the designated pickup point at the agreed pickup time.
  • Passenger must follow driver safety instructions and remain properly seated while the vehicle is moving.
  • No smoking, vaping, alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons, or unsafe conduct in the vehicle.
  • Passengers must treat drivers, other passengers and company property respectfully.
  • Changes to recurring schedules should be communicated as early as possible.
  • Success Transport may modify or suspend service when safety, vehicle availability, severe weather, or operational conditions require it.

2. Pickup & no-show standard

  • The passenger is expected to be ready within the company's published pickup window.
  • If a passenger will not ride, they should notify Success Transport as soon as possible.
  • Repeated no-shows, late cancellations or failure to follow the agreed schedule may result in review of the passenger's recurring service arrangement.
  • Any cancellation or no-show fee should be stated in the passenger's final service agreement before it is charged.

3. Same-day payment

In-county — one way$15
In-county — round trip$30
Cross-county — one way$20
Cross-county — round trip$40

Working pricing draft based on the current Success Transport operating model. Final rates should be confirmed against the actual route, service type, contract and applicable law.

4. Weekly prepaid schedule

In-county — 5 round-trip workdays$100
Cross-county — 5 round-trip workdays$150
Friday deadline: Payment must be received by the end of the preceding Friday to place the passenger on the following week's prepaid pickup schedule, unless Success Transport confirms an exception.

The prepaid structure reflects the current discounted weekly model: $20/day in-county and $30/day cross-county for five round-trip workdays.

5. How the weekly schedule works

  1. Passenger selects the recurring days and pickup arrangement.
  2. Success Transport confirms the route and published pickup window.
  3. For the discounted prepaid schedule, payment is due by the end of Friday before the service week.
  4. Once payment and schedule are confirmed, the passenger is placed on the following week's pickup schedule.
  5. Same-day riders pay the applicable same-day rate and are subject to available capacity.
  6. A phone-request exception may be approved by Success Transport staff when capacity and operating conditions allow it.

6. Passenger acknowledgment

I understand that these standards are intended to support safe, reliable and predictable transportation. I understand that a recurring transportation arrangement is subject to confirmed availability, payment terms, route capacity and the final Success Transport service agreement.
